‘Americans love our Nazi crap,’ a good friend who had been traveling in the USA for a long time once told me about the many Americans who collect Nazi memorabilia. When I recommended the series ‘The Man in the High Castle’, based on the novel of the same name by Philip K. Dick (1962), to an American friend, she waved me off. It was hitting too close to home.

In the novel, the Japanese and Germans had won World War II in a parallel universe. World War II. The larger eastern part of the USA was the ‘Greater Nazi Reich’. (https://lnkd.in/eR4v3ujz). John F. Kennedy’s father Joseph was known as an ardent anti-Semite, racist and great admirer of Hitler. Or google the Bellamy Salute or ‘War Against the Weak: Eugenics and America’s Campaign to Create a Master Race’. There are many sinister connections.

As Republicans have won the majority in both the House of Representatives and the Senate. Congress, the President and the Supreme Court in unison. Trump can rule with the Supreme Court ‘by the grace of God’, so to speak. Appointing radical right-wing extremists such as Pete Hegseth as Secretary of Defense, the “Border Czar” Tom Homanor or Matt Gaetz as Attorney General give an idea how Trump finally finishes his coup d’état. Not to talk about Elon Musk as the first truly American oligarch.

What we are witnessing is the rise of American fascism. Anyone who objects that this term might be exaggerated or unfounded should read the official Republican manifesto. Line by line. I have attached the link and kindly ask that you do so. https://lnkd.in/eDuhhB-f

There is no apology. And just as Putin’s propaganda has succeeded in turning a not insignificant part of the German population against Ukraine, I’m curious to see how long it will take for stumbling industrialists, the tabloid press, populists anyway, to buckle and extend Trump’s and Putin’s culture war to Germany. And yes, unfortunately the update: the now North Korean-Russian war against Ukraine.

Ideological indoctrination does not stop at schools and companies. Therefore, I see our professional efforts of a new learning in organizations indirectly threatened, but I think that international, future-oriented industries will continue to rely on innovative teams. In addition, many progressive states will resist.

I am more of a Juliana Craine. I am a European. We will not be discouraged when fools rule the world.
