  1. Thanks for the paper on German and Thai culture.. Being familiar with the cultures involved, it does seem that values and social organization go hand in hand. I read a history of the Vietnam war and it was saying how the collectivist and agricultural nature of society, plus Buddhism (at least ancient – with the Emperor at the top and not much between) kept society fairly level and socially solid.
